A guard with great length: Edwards comes to Finger Lakes carrying with him the ability to stretch the court thanks to his long, 6-foot-4 inch frame. Penciled in as a perimeter player, the first-year Laker is a quality jump shooter and facilitator. Not to mention, he is also a phenomenal rebounder of the ball. The Brooklyn, NY resident gives the team a reliable offensive weapon. His athleticism combined with his offensive game are off the charts. Edwards has the drive and passion that suits that of a successful basketball player. Labeled as an unselfish player, one that strictly puts his efforts towards bettering any team that he is a part of, the freshman brings a strong winning attitude with him to the team. His willingness to do whatever is asked of him on the court makes for him to be a suitable fit in or out of the starting lineup. Factored to be a threat on both sides of the gymnasium right off of the bat, Edwards could really develop himself into a special product as the 2012-13 season unfolds and progresses.
